新緑の中で水と「息子」と戯れた初夏の一日 滝野すずらん公園にて
雪がどっさり積もる北海道だって。暑い夏が訪れると水遊びがしたくなるんです。新緑の木漏れ日の中を散歩したり、BBQを楽しみたくなるんです。
Even in snowy Hokkaido, when the hot summer arrives, we all feel like playing in the water. We want to take a stroll in the midst of the green sunlight filtering through the trees and enjoy a BBQ.
初夏の晴れた日は、「とうちゃん」は「かあちゃん」と「息子」を引き連れて、笑顔と叫び声がこだまする札幌市の滝野すずらん公園で、爽やかな１日を過ごしもんだ。「こどもの谷」の親水ゾーンで遊ぶのも楽しいけれど、癒しの緑とマイナスイオンに溢れる渓谷エリアでBBQや水遊びを楽しむのも良いもんだ。
On a clear day in early summer, "Daddy" takes "Mommy" and "Junior" to the Takino Suzuran Park in Sapporo, where smiles and shouts echo. It's great fun to play in the water zone of "Children's Valley," but it's also wonderful to enjoy BBQ and water activities in the healing greenery and negative-ion-filled valley area.
渓谷ゾーンはアクセスしやすいだけではなく、自然豊かなエリアでもある。整備された広大な森の中には、子供が遊べる小川や池があり、そこには自然の小さな生き物たちも暮らしている。「息子」と一緒に川エビや小魚、綺麗な蝶を探しをしてみたり、捕まえてみたり。自然の中で遊ぶことは、「息子」にとって新たな発見と学び、そして楽しみを得ることができたと信じている。難点は、冷たすぎる流水が「とうちゃん」の関節にやさしくないことだね。
The valley zone is not only easily accessible but also a naturally abundant area. Within the well-maintained vast forest, there are streams and ponds where children can play, and there, little creatures of nature also reside. Searching for crayfish and small fish with ”Junior”, catching them together—it's believed that playing in nature provides him with new discoveries, learning experiences, and joy. The only downside is that the cold flowing water isn't gentle on "Daddy"'s joints, you know.
渓谷ゾーンには、ピクニックエリアやバーベキュースペースが用意されている。家族や友人と一緒にＢＢＱを楽しむ人でにぎわっているけれど、公園があまりにも広いため人口密度が少なく、いつでもとても快適なスペースを確保できる。子供が100人騒いでも、まったく気にならないほどにね。
In the valley zone, there are picnic areas and BBQ spaces. It's bustling with families and friends enjoying BBQ, but since the park is so spacious and you can always secure a comfortable space. Even if a hundred children are making noise, it won't bother you at all.
滝野すずらん公園の渓谷ゾーンには川が流れており、ニジマスの釣り堀があり、気軽に釣りも楽しむことができちゃいます。しかも定期的にエキサイティングなニジマス手づかみイベントが開催されています。ピチピチした魚をガシッて手づかみできますか？「息子」は、なんの躊躇もなくガシッて掴んでた。もちろん、捕った魚はおろしてＢＢＱの具として、感謝を込めていただきました。大事だね、我々は生き物の命をいただいて生きていることを体験的に知ることは。
In the valley zone of Takino Suzuran Park, a river flows, and there is a trout fishing pond where you can easily enjoy fishing. Moreover, exciting trout-catching events are held regularly. Can you catch live fish with your bare hands? Without any hesitation, "Junior" was grabbing them. Of course, the fish we caught were prepared for BBQ, showing gratitude for the life they've given us. It's important to experientially understand that we live by the lives of other lives.
「とうちゃん」一家のBBQに欠かせないもの、それは皮付きの「とうもろこし」。皮をむかずに、赤く焼けた炭の上に直接おいておく。トウモロコシの皮のおかげで、いい感じに蒸し焼きされていく。外側が真っ黒に焦げたら、皮をむいてタレを塗る。ちょっと焦がして出来上がり。朝どれのもぎたて新鮮、一番おいしいところを香ばしくいただく口幸！これこそまさに北海道の醍醐味だ。北海道の豊かな大地と涼しい気候、そして絶え間ない北海道人の努力が、トウモロコシに秀逸な甘みをもたらしている。さらに北海道のトウモロコシは、一般的に大粒であり、食べ応えがある。
One essential item for "Daddy"'s family BBQ is corn with husks on. Place it directly on the red-hot charcoal without peeling the husks. Thanks to the corn husks, it steams and cooks perfectly. When the outer layer turns black, peel off the husks, slightly char the glazed sauce, and it's done. It's the ultimate pleasure to savor the most delicious part, freshly picked and fragrant! This is truly the essence of Hokkaido. The rich land and cool climate of Hokkaido, along with the unceasing efforts of Hokkaido people, bring out the exceptional sweetness of corn. Furthermore, Hokkaido corn is generally large and satisfying to eat.
